Nvidia has made a minority investment in Cloverleaf Infrastructure, a privately held developer that secures land, electricity and utility coordination for large data center sites. The companies did not disclose the size or terms of the investment.

Cloverleaf said the partnership would help it advance powered sites across the United States. Nvidia will also provide access to its DSX platform, which is designed to optimize decisions involving site selection, power, cooling and computing. Cloverleaf, founded in 2024, says its team has delivered multiple gigawatt-scale projects.

The deal is another sign that the AI supply chain is becoming more vertically connected. A leading chipmaker is putting capital behind the developers trying to solve the industry's physical bottlenecks — electricity, grid interconnection and buildable land — before a server is installed.
